Narcissus - Caravaggio

Welcome, gentle unknown stranger! In this little corner of the web you'll find my modest personal homepage, with some of my musings and rantings on display.

Web 1.0

A personal homepage, it’s quite web 1.0. Why invest a few of my scarce free evenings in a thing of the past, when I could start a blog for example? But such a blog takes an awful lot of time and continuous effort, at least when you do it right. So a personal homepage it’ll be. But to what end? Let’s say I want to fence my own private little piece of cyberspace.

These few kilobytes here allow me to briefly sing the praises of some material and artisic elements of life most dear to me. That I am but a puny high-pitched voice in the deafening racket of the world wide web is noted but deemed irrelevant. My ego really doesn't need shouting to the masses.

Flesh and bones

Actually, my initial motivation for setting up this homepage was to put some flesh onto the bones of some of the internet profiles I entertain: to give a little bit more information about me than just listing age, location and professional experience. And it still serves that purpose. You're welcome to take a look around, and if you would feel compelled to email me, please do not hesitate to do so. Otherwise, pleasant surfing!
